I am Meinir Thomas, Headteacher of Ysgol Llanhari in Rhondda Cynon Taf.
Ysgol Gyfun Llanhari was established as a Welsh secondary school in 1974. In September 2012, a section of the comprehensive school building was transformed to accommodate 30 nursery and reception pupils.
This marks the exciting beginning of Ysgol Llanhari, a School for All Ages for children aged 3-19 on the site. The primary section has now fully developed, and a ‘First Steps’ nursery group has also been established on the school site. We collaborate with providers to ensure comprehensive care for the youngest pupils.
