Meryl Echeverry

Meryl Echeverry is Headteacher of Abertillery Learning Community, a multi-campus all through school of 1700 pupils.  Meryl has a strong record of accomplishment, her school leadership career has been largely focused on schools in diverse, vibrant yet challenging communities. Meryl has a wealth of experience and a very open and distributed leadership style, and a firm belief that teaching is a privilege.

Meryl’s philosophy is based on an unwavering belief in the difference a high-quality learning experience can and must make to the life chances of young people.
