Following a period as Headteacher of Ysgol Gyfun Garth Olwg, I was appointed to establish and lead the new 3-19 school, namely Ysgol Garth Olwg which opened in September 2019. The school is located on the Garth Olwg Lifelong Learning Campus, in Church Village near Pontypridd. It continues to be an extremely exciting time with a team of enthusiastic staff working together effectively to establish the new school. We are privileged to be part of the All Age Schools Forum Cymru which provides a platform and a catalyst for the research work that is central to our vision at Garth Olwg.
We also take great pride in our strong Welsh identity, our pioneering history and strong heritage, and we fully appreciate the weight of our responsibility in ensuring that Ysgol 3 – 19 Garth Olwg provides the very best education for our learners.

This website is a natural extension of the Welsh All Age Schools Forum, which has been meeting regularly and sharing ideas since 2017 and we thank the WAG Education for funding this project.
