Hello. My name is Yvonne Jones and I’m the Headteacher of Porth Community School, 3-16 Learning Community in Porth, Rhondda Cynon Taf
The school opened in September 2018, on the previous Porth County Community School site. It has a bespoke new build for pupils in Nursery to Year 6 and there has been some extensive refurbishment of the original build for Years 7 to 11.
You are very welcome to contact me to talk about any aspects of All Age Education, or any matters specific to our school.
Our mission statement ‘Aspire Together, Achieve Together’ is fulfilled by us having the highest ambitions and expectations for our pupils’ achievement, well-being and behaviour. We are committed to providing outstanding learning and teaching in a caring, safe, nurturing environment. We want your child to enjoy their learning and the wide range of extra-curricular opportunities available whilst being challenged and supported to reach their full potential.

This website is a natural extension of the Welsh All Age Schools Forum, which has been meeting regularly and sharing ideas since 2017 and we thank the WAG Education for funding this project.
