This website is an extension of the Welsh All Age Schools Forum, which has been sharing ideas since 2017 and we thank WAG Education for funding the project.

This ground-breaking sector has grown from two schools in 2012 to 26 in 2020.  At the outset, our understanding and knowledge of how best to make our schools fulfil their potential was gained by trial and error. More recently this information is being collected through our collaboration with Swansea University. There is still a vast body of knowledge and experience in individual schools which could benefit others at different points along their journey.

It is clear that All Age Schools can offer something different and exciting. Although they are inherently complex structures to set up and manage, understanding in detail how others operate can support leaders in developing their All Age Schools. Put simply, our aim is to share our knowledge via this website for the benefit all.
